1. Who is responsible for your information

Baraa Studios, of Doha, State of Qatar, decides how information collected through this website is used.

For anything in this notice, write to info@baraastudios.com.

2. The short version

We collect what you type into the contact form, and nothing else. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party script running on the pages you visit. If you are a visitor rather than a member of the studio, this website sets no cookies on your device at all.

3. What we collect

When you send us a brief, the form asks for:

• your name

• your company or brand

• your email address

• your phone number — optional

• the service you are interested in

• the type of project

• a budget range

• a timeline

• a description of the project

You choose what to put in each field. Only your name, your email address and the description are needed for us to reply sensibly.

4. How your brief reaches us

The website sends nothing anywhere automatically. It assembles the brief in your browser and opens your own email application with it, sending the message through your email provider rather than ours, and reaching us directly in the studio inbox at info@baraastudios.com.

5. Why we use it, and on what basis

We use what you send to read your brief, reply to you and discuss the project. If the project goes ahead, that correspondence becomes part of the working relationship.

Our basis is your consent, given by choosing to send the brief, together with our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not add you to a mailing list.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries we did not take forward are kept for one year and then deleted. Correspondence connected to work we carried out is kept for as long as our records and the law require.

You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner — see section 11.

7. Cookies

This website uses three cookies. All three exist so that the studio’s own dashboard works, and none of them are set for ordinary visitors:

• baraa_session — keeps a member of the studio signed in to the dashboard. Set only at sign-in.

• baraa_csrf — stops another website from triggering dashboard actions on a signed-in editor’s behalf. Set only at sign-in.

• baraa_preview — lets a signed-in editor see unpublished drafts. Set only when preview mode is switched on.

All three are limited to this website and are cleared when the session ends or the editor signs out. Because they are strictly necessary and none reach ordinary visitors, this website does not ask for cookie consent.

8. Fonts, embeds and other websites

Typefaces are served from this website rather than from a font network, so opening a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.

We embed no social feeds, no video players from other platforms, no comment system, no chat widget, no maps and no advertising. Links to Instagram and Behance are ordinary links: nothing loads from them until you click.

9. Who else sees your information

• Web Hosting Provider — hosts the website and its database.

• Storage Provider — stores the films and images the site serves.

• Email Provider — carries the email your brief arrives in.

Each of these acts on our instructions. Beyond them, nobody sees your enquiry except the studio, unless we are required by law to disclose it.

10. Where your information goes

Our hosting and storage may sit outside the State of Qatar, primarily utilizing secure cloud infrastructure regions. Where information is transferred abroad we take reasonable steps to keep it protected to the standard described here.

11. Your rights

Under Qatar’s Law No. 13 of 2016 concerning Personal Data Privacy Protection, you may:

• ask what personal data we hold about you

• ask us to correct it if it is wrong

• ask us to delete it

• withdraw your consent

• object to the way we are using it

Write to info@baraastudios.com and we will respond. There is no charge for asking.

12. How we protect it

• traffic to and from this website is encrypted

• dashboard passwords are stored as salted hashes, never as readable text

• sessions are stored as digests, so a copied database does not hand anyone a working session

• sign-in attempts are rate limited

• only the studio holds dashboard accounts

No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your information we will tell you, and the relevant authority, as the law requires.

13. Children

This website is aimed at people commissioning film work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

14. Changes

If this notice changes, the new version appears here with a new date. Significant changes will be described rather than made quietly.
